Dante AV includes two elements: The Dante AV Module which delivers Dante networking for up to 8 audio channels (transmit or receive) and 1 video channel (transmit or receive), and the Dante AV Product Design Suite, which is a feature complete product design utilizing the Dante AV Module. It includes documentation, schematics and software to create a fully functional encode or decode endpoint, complete with a bill of materials. The Dante AV Product Design Suite can be quickly customized and enhanced by manufacturers, reducing risk, cost of development, and time to market while allowing for competitive differentiation.

The Dante AV Module is a hardware solution for interfacing audio and video with a 1 Gbps network, delivered as a compact, castellated circuit board. The Dante AV Module is codec-agnostic, allowing manufacturers to utilize the 1 Gbps codec of their choice while getting all the benefits of the Dante’s easy-to-use software and API for unified control of both audio and video. The Dante AV Module provides complete interoperability with all Dante audio devices.

Dante AV Module is easily included into AV over IP product designs such as encoder and decoder endpoints, matrix switches, mixing panels, video wall processors, conferencing systems, and much more. With a rich set of control interfaces, support for Dante Device Protocol, packet bridging, AES67, plus video and HDCP encryption, the Dante AV Module can seamlessly connect an AV product with networked control to the growing ecosystem of both Dante AV and Dante Audio-enabled products.
